I missed my flight! Hahahaha!!! I had the wrong time in my head this whole morning. I thought it was at 2:45. There I was leisurely packing, listening to music, dropping by Walmart and the post office.. then when I went to check in online, it said my flight had left already at 10:45. Whoops!!!
Fortunately, they rebooked it for free. Thanks Varsha for helping me get a really cool ticket. I've changed my flights twice and now rebooked a missed one all FREE OF CHARGE. So it was definitely worth the price.
Anyway, that's another hilarious episode to add to my travel comedies. As I thought about it, here are a few more:
1. The night before I flew out here, I totally forgot that I didn't have my passport. It was still at the Japanese Embassy. I was flying out in 8 hours and my passport was in limbo! Hahaha! I had to move my flight one day later and MAKE SURE that I had my passport the next day.
2. Coming home from San Jose last year, Tracy offered to drop me off at the airport. I moved my bags to her car and absent-mindedly shut the trunk with her keys inside, along with all my bags, my plane ticket, and my passport. After a few silly attempts at picking the lock, we called a car assistance service and they got the keys for us. Tracy raced to the airport and we arrived an hour before departure.
3. Just before I left LA, I asked Sammi, Dane, Tricia, and Chino to take me to the mall to buy Chryso's Bath and Body Works stuff. With Dane's skillful driving, we made it to the mall and the bus station in time. I barely got on my bus before it left, but I made it! Unfortunately, I forgetfully packed the body spray in my carry-on bag. When I got to the security check point, they flagged it and I had to leave it there. I had it for all of 2 hours. Hahaha!
Oh well... Prevention really is better than a cure, but laughter is still the best medicine. Thank God for a sense of humor. Hahahaha!! Now to make the most of today...

 | i have a friend naman who always gets "unlucky", for lack of a better word. she's the only person i know who can break her toothbrush while brushing, thus getting her cheek scraped by the broken part of the toothbrush. one time, she was waiting for her turn to brush her teeth (i was at the sink) and was standing a fair distance from me. when I squeezed toothpaste on my brush, i heard a loud yell. I turned around and found her holding her eye. the toothpaste must've splattered a little, missed me and went straight for her eye. impossible, but it happens to her all the time. we have a good laugh over her klutz moments. |

 | hahaha...we all have those moments...misplaced stuff...stuff that we seriously don't know where we last seen it...same thing with me this week...i misplaced my ipod...nothing fancy...but it has all my treasured music and podcast...i seriously turned my place upside down and downside up to search for it...after endless searching last night...the following morning...i decided on getting an 80GB ipod...i am not sold out with the itouch...but 2 minutes before purchasing the new ipod...my friend told me that my old ipod is in one of my paperbags that I gave her...hhhmmm...silly me...lesson...we may be absent minded and scattered brain with "stuff" like that...i told my friend though...this I can attest...i am not like that with my relationships...meaning...they are just stuff...replaceable...may hold sentimental value but they are just "stuff"...i would be ultra worried if i lost my relationships...so joseph...you are fine...your ok...no worries...they are just stuff...replaceable...pat pat pat... |
